This place is the perfect example for why I love those smaller retreat hotels! Extremely friendly and attentive staff, a wonderful location nestled in the hills of Sintra, very cute rooms with a delightful view, a personalised, fresh breakfast delivered to your room... One extra word on the attentive staff: we travelled with a toddler and stayed at Casa do Valle over NYE, and in the afternoon of the 31st staff got in touch with us directly to inform us that another guest was planning to start up some fireworks just off the property at midnight, so we could plan ahead with our baby.

What a place!! Calm, serine and amazing views up to Sintra! We booked an extra night on arrival…so special and relaxing. Being able to book a sauna was an added bonus. We stayed down in the little annex rooms..definitely worth the extra cost for the views alone.

Very comfortable and cozy hotel, great view for surroundings and many major landmarks. Very nice and friendly staff. Location is 10 mins walk from city centre and great hiking trail around all landmarks

Ana Filipa was really nice, showed us the room and the property. The view was absolutely stunning and the bed was very comfy. Also, it is very near our favourite spots.

The young lady that checked us in was outstanding, helped park the car and arranged for an early breakfast next morning. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Quiet area with a nice view of Pena Palace and Moor Castle. It is great that they do have some parking spaces

Great location and staff couldn’t have been more helpful . Even set up breakfast for us to all eat together and the facilities to do yoga together were an added bonus.
