Cozy and very nice room, everything is very well thought through. The host is amazing and very caring. He also told us how to enter before the check-in so that we could leave our suitcase at the reception before going to explore Sintra and came later to check-in properly. This hostel is much better than some conventional little hotels. The location is great - close to any attraction or transportation in Sintra you might want. Highly recommended!

António is absolutely lovely! He made me feel completely at home and when I arrived he introduced me to all the people staying in the hostel. With this he created a very homely vibe. There is free coffee and tea. He responds super quickly to any questions. The location is a bit outside of the old town but very quiet and there’s a mini supermarket literally around the corner. The beds are comfortable and warm :) Hot shower also!

Very small, cozy, hostel and as I read the reviews Mr. Antonio is definitely an amazing person. He was so kind, helpful and the hostel has everything you need even a free towel. I loved the place, beautiful view and ver central. I will go back if Mr. Antonio will offer me traditional sintra pastel...

Big room in calm hostel outside the most touristy part of Sintra. We had the private room, since we were traveling as a couple. It was spacious (king+ bed) and also had a twin bed that could be used by a kid or third-friend if you're piling in. We used shared bathrooms and they have a nice kitchen. Easy check in with Antonio. Good, affordable option for a short stay. We walked everywhere in town without issue and got the Scotturb bus up to Pena Palace. The historic section of Sintra is a 15-20 min walk up a slight graded hill that is well lit at night. We found a great restaurant for dinner close to the hostel, the Saturday market is right next door and was nice to see, and Cafe Tulipa across the street has excellent breakfast options. We arrived via a train from Lisbon and walked up from Portelo Sintra train station but learned afterwards that we could have also easily walked from Sintra train station, and that might have been easier. Either way it's about an 8 min walk to train station. For departure we actually changed plan and took an shared ride (Uber/Bolt) to Lisbon airport, which was ~40 mins. The cost varies based on surge pricing but was less than 20Euros when we went.

The whole place was very adorable, one minute away from the museum. It’s close to convenient store and restaurant. It’s very clean and well managed by Antonio. He is very friendly and shows us the hostel. The kitchen has tea, coffee, etc. Highly recommend this place, which gives a cozy stay!

Amazing location, the owner is very friendly, rooms were clean and nice,property has 2 bathrooms and good kitchen.beautiful terrace. Also has many entertainments,games to play.
