Sugi is beneficial and pays attention to detail. The room is spotless with a forest view. It was above my expectation, worth it for the money. He provides a breakfast in the morning with a complimentary snack, what a rare service for a budget room.

Amazing place. New, clean, spacious bungalows and the bed is super comfortable. The views of Mount Batur and the lake are simply spectacular. They will give you a great price for trekking to Mount Batur and will advise you on all the activities you want to do. But the best of all is the treatment received by the family that runs the homestay, simply wonderful and charming. The road that leads to the homestay is not as bad as some comments say, taxis arrive without problem and if you have a motorbike you will arrive at the lake in 3 minutes. The restaurant had great food and breakfast. The proximity to Sekumpul Waterfall is the biggest plus. If you ask, they'll even give you a discount card for the waterfalls. They also have check-out quite late, so you can visit the waterfalls in the morning and then pick up your luggage and leave.

The location is very good. A bit far from the main town. Sekumpul waterfall is walkable distance from the property (25 min). The rooms were clean and maintained. There is a restaurant available and the food was also good. Overall a good stay for people who is looking for peace from the other busy touristy place in Bali.

You can walk to Sekumpul waterfall from the accommodation and the host gives you a “tourism card” so you can access the waterfall without being harassed by the “mafia” and you only need to pay IDR 30,000 instead of the normal IDR 250,000 to access the waterfall. Initially we weren’t going to visit Sekumpul waterfall because we read so many bad Google reviews about how the “mafia” harass you, but staying here is a loophole so you can avoid having to pay the high fees and being harassed.

The room was great, the bed too and the balcony too! You have a discount for the waterfalls so thats great ! They can drive you anywhere !

This property is near the Sekumpul waterfalls and it takes few mins walk to the steps and then some 500 steps down to the waterfalls. Advantages of staying here, you get ticket to waterfalls at only IDR30k instead of regular 150k. The place is run by a family and it’s really decent stay with good food at their restaurant.
