This is a real gem if you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s excellent value for money. It’s a modern 9 storey building with a swimming pool on the roof. We had a private en-suite room which was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough. The restaurant serves an all day menu including western style options. The set veggie breakfast and the coffee were good. Location-wise, you’re a couple of minutes’ walk from the national museum and not much further from several metro stations. You can be in Chinatown, Marina Bay and Harbourside in a few minutes. Orchard Road itself is a big shopping district. A suite at Raffles it isn’t, but if, like the rest of us, you want a modern, clean hotel with great facilities, this is it. All ages welcome!

I have stayed there many times for a layover from Europe to Australia and vv . The staff has always been very friendly. For a reasonable price I could get a late check out so I could have my room closer to my late night flight. The pool on the roof is also worth mentioning.
