It’s a really beautiful historic building, the team are really pleasant, the area is clean and very safe. The building is lovely and warm. It’s only a short walk from the main street quiet but far enough away for it not to be noisy. We could easily walk to the castle and cable cars too. I recommend choosing a room in the main section of the hotel that has the character of the building. The bigger rooms are a different style.

If you are ever in Sinaia, this is the place to stay. The room we had was cozy, the furnishings really complemented the aesthetics of an old hunting lodge. We absolutely loved the breakfast, and the lovely ladies working here were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. We honestly cannot fault anything with this b&b, everything was so comfortable and the location is amazing. If we’re ever back in Sinaia, we’ll definitely return!

Set in what looks like an old hunting lodge high up on the hills over Sinaia. Great views over the valley. Breakfast was very good with a lovely omelette, bread, cheese, and fresh salad.

It was cold outside but the room was warm, comfortable. The staffs and the lady owner were friendly welcoming guests; very respectful and professional. I felt peace surrounded by trees in the hotel's garden.

The villa is a wonderful historical building well located in a quiet area not too far from the center of Sinaia. The staff is very friendly and accommodating (we arrived a bit late for check-in and they arranged accordingly). The family flat we had was spacious and very comfortable for two adults and two kids. Breakfast was well served, with a mix of bread, vegetables, hams and cheeses, and eggs - far enough for a good day start. Overall a charming experience, we fully recommend Villa Retreat!

250 meters from the center is the house of Anastasie Simu, or Villa Retezat, designed and built in the style of the German Renaissance in the early twentieth century by the Czech architect Karel Liman, a good friend of King Carol I, chief architect of the Royal House of Romania between 1894-1929, for which he designed Pelișor Castle and the hall of honor of Peles Castle.
