Beautiful view! lovely rooms. Great staff. Excellent location to shops and penguins and Boulder beach. Closest stay to Cape Point park, ostrich farm, Cape of Good Hope. safe and secure. good breakfast. big thumbs up and would definitely stay there again. easy to drive around town and sites.

Beautiful guest house and great hospitality! Thank you to Liesel and her team for a wonderful stay! We received a friendly welcome by Mandy, who showed us around and gave great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a balcony and views of the Harbour and False Bay. We appreciated the kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave, which we used when we didn't feel like going out. Everything is well maintained with attention to detail. The breakfast was the best we've had at a guest house in a long time. They offer a Continental self-help buffet with freshly baked muffins, breads, cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and a menu with various hot breakfast options to order. We loved the "Pekish Penguin" with potato rosti, smoked salmon, and poached egg, as well as the "Mermaid" with French Toast bacon and syrup. The Expresso machine with complimentary coffee pods available to guests all day was handy, but I preferred the freshly ground coffee prepared for our table by the hostess in a French press. We loved Simon's Town with all its character and so much to do! We'll definitely stay at Mariner Guesthouse again.

The breakfast was amazing. One could even skip lunch, as during lunch one is still full. They even gave us additional mushrooms. Chefs will also help you choose your breakfast. We explored, as they have a variety of breakfast packages. The location is perfect as it is close to beaches like Long Beach, Windmill, the Boulders, and the water edge ( walking distance). To go to other places, one should prepare to pay but there is a train station in close proximity to the guesthouse, one can use Bolt, InDrive, Hakunamatata, Uber, etc. The train is very cheap to Fishhoek (R10.00) and also to Cape Town City Centre

We stayed in the family self catering unit on the ground floor with a garden. The view from the unit was beautiful and our dogs loved the garden. The host was amazing and sent us tips for where to walk with the dogs and we were so close to the beach we walked every morning. Unit has everything you could need.

Ideally located on the heights of Simon’s Town, the view is stunning. The staff is lovely and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Everything was perfect! Thank you for this very enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mariner Guesthouse! The staff were exceptional, and we especially want to thank Mandy for her outstanding hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was perfect. From her warm welcome to her helpful recommendations, Mandy truly made us feel at home. The entire team was friendly and attentive, and the guest house was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We both highly recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future!

The accommodation was a good value of the money. Mandy the assistant manager was very very helpful. Delphine the nanny did an excellent job taking care of our son who couldn't go for most of the activities. The accommodation is very close to boulders Beach ⛱️
