Everything was great, including the staff. Perfect location. The views were amazing. The swimming pool was in lovely surroundings. The breakfast was very good.

Stay here regularly but only for one or two nights. Has a good carpark and some rooms have a castle view. Pleasant oudoor pool in summer months. Ideal ofr those wanting somewhere more tranquil than the large resorts.

I have stayed here many times going back many years. The place hasn't really changed at all in that time which is good and bad. However, the good outweighs the bad:- Ample parking Great views from back of hotel (which includes bar and breakfast areas) to the town and Castle Very well kept gardens. Good pool and lounging area. Located out of town but it's only a short walk over the bridge. Prices in low season can be incredibly cheap and the price includes breakfast which is quite a good one.

Exterior of the hotel is very nice, pool area is comfortable and relaxing, breakfast is exceptional and the interior and exterior breakfast areas are very comfortable. Good value for what we paid.

The views across to the castle are amazing. Stayed at this hotel many times, so we knew what to expect. Friendly staff, who are happy for me to practice my Portuguese on arrival.
