“Beautiful litte spot with a wonderful hostess.”

This simple no-frills guest house had a wonderful hostess who is a great cook. The room was spacious with a small balcony looking over the garden, Many birds fly through in the morning. The main temples and tourist sites are walkable (within 20-30 mins walk) or you can hire a tuk-tuk. The hostess cooks delicious Indian food and serves a nice Sri Lankan breakfast. It was a nice get away in a wooded area.

The room was exactly as described, located in a peaceful area, very clean and well maintained by the owners. The family are extremely friendly and were always super helpful. Breakfast was also delicious! Would highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing time at Sigirya White House! The host and her family are such lovely people and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We arrived very early and it was no problem, which was such a relief. They gave us a lot of tips and advice, which we really appreciated. The room was big and clean, with a balcony overlooking the garden where we could spot monkeys, private ensuite and a mosquito net. The kitchen had drinking water at all times. They serve Indian food, which is super delicious, though we only had lunch once. The location is very convenient. Walking distance to Lions Rock tourist entrance and plenty of restaurants. There is a bus stop outside of the accommodation, so getting to Dambulla and Kandy is really easy to do. We were sad to leave this accommodation and really recommend it!
