An absolutely delightful and big breakfast served at a convenient time. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic—just a short distance from Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock.

It was a pleasure to stay at Thathsara Holiday Inn, our hosts went above and beyond for us from the moment we walked in! Our room and bathroom were super clean and the location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk from the town. We told Rohan everything we wanted to do and he arranged everything for us at a great price. We ate dinner here too during our stay, the food is the best and such a good price. If we were to come back to Sigiriya this is where we would stay, we were sad to leave!! Rohan and his family made us feel right at home, thank you so much!

Great location, quiet but only a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant area and sigiriya rock. Breakfast was wonderful and I put on several kilos!! Also try to eat in at least one night the food was incredible. The couple who run it are so helpful and kind.

Rohan, Rohit and Yohan were very honest and genuine. Yohan organised an excellent visit to the auyvadic spa for us. And did offer a great price for a private driver (we already had one booked). To top it all off they prepared a gluten free breakfast for my celiac wife. The home stay is in a great location a short forest walk from lion rock. Highly reccomend!

We really liked our stay in Thathsara Holiday Inn. Everything was clean, the location is excellent (close to Lion’s rock and Pidurangala Rock), the owners were very nice and the breakfast was excellent ! We recommend !

There is nothing one cannot like here. Lovely people and nice ambience. Received with heartful smile and fed us breakfast with nearly 10 items home cooked. Highly recommended stay.

I had a wonderful stay here! The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The pleasant scent in the room and the beautiful garden surrounding the house created such a relaxing atmosphere. Evenings spent sitting on the patio was nice. Breakfast was extensive and really delicious. I especially loved the crepes with coconut honey filling—such a treat! The owners were incredibly nice and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The location is great—within walking distance to the town and Lion Rock.
