Amazing property at a great location. You have a really nice view of Sigiriya rock sith rice fields around you. Everything was cleand and the staff was super friendly with helping us with everything we needed.

The view from the room was beatiful. The hotel is walking distance from restauranta but yet far enough from the busy main street to guarantee perfect quiet. But, most imprtant, the whole staff was more then welcoming, helping us in organizing activities and preparing different breakfast every day.

Royal Rock is a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and will help you with transport, tours and all the other questions you might have :) A special thanks to Sugii who was always there, when needed! The bed in the room is really comfortable and you have the chance to sit on the balcony or the pool. We did not have direct view of the rock, but you see it from the pool area or directly in front of the house. Really impressive! You also get pool towels. It is 10 to 15 minutes by foot to town or 300 to 400 LKR by TukTuk. Breakfast was good although it got less everyday ;) And was not always Sri Lankan. But we could have asked for more. Maybe you should make clear which breakfast you want the day before.

Close to Sigiriya Rock with gorgeous views of rice fields. Staff was very nice and checked us in after 11:30 pm. The bed had mosquito net as well as electrical repellent.

Large room and good shower and nice pool. Very friendly staff and we were walking back to the accommodation after dinner and the owner passed us in his car and told us to hop in and he drove us back to the accommodation which was lovely.

Royal Rock is a quiet, peaceful haven handy for Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. The food is excellent, service attentive but not intrusive and the ambience is most relaxing. The rooms all have a view of a lion rock and paddy filed which is home to varieties of birdlife. There is a comfortable pool to cool off in and rooms are cozy.

The accommodation is located very close to the famous rock and you can have a great view from the swimming pool. Close to the main stress but it's immersed in the peace and green vegetation - absolutely no noise. The owner and the staff are really amazing, kind people, food is also very good. They can help you with organizing your stay, if you need tour or information about what to do/see. Strongly recommended!!!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. Thanks to Sanath and Sujee .The location of the hotel is great with mountain view. Rooms were cleaned and the bed was really comfortable. Value for money. Tasty and mouthwatering food.
