Fantastic service provided by Uhdi and the staff, we were welcomed right from the time of the booking, and very well taken care of throughout our stay. The home-cooked meals were unbelievable and the accommodation is amazingly clean, and comfortable in a fantastic location.

The host was exceptional, making me feel right at home and going out of his way to help with everything, from organizing attractions and tuktuk to go around Sigiriya to helping me when I needed. His care and dedication made all the difference. The room was nice, spotless and had everything I needed, offering both comfort and practicality. Breakfast was a daily delight, with homemade local dishes that were not only delicious but also varied and thoughtfully prepared. The garden was a peaceful oasis, full of life with birds enjoying fruits – such a calm and relaxing scenery. And the view of Lion Rock? Simply beautiful with the rice fields around. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay – everything was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!

A perfect place for us…small local homestay near rice paddies and view of Lion's Rock. The owner is so positive and cheerful. He helped us learn about wildlife in his garden, recommended local restaurants and organized most of our tours. The breakfast was so wonderful - we stayed 4 nights and every morning we had different Sri Lankan choices. There were sunny-side-up eggs every morning. A thermos full of hot water to make your own coffee or tea plus a lovely local juice. You can easily walk to see local rice fields and a view of the Lion's Rock. There are many restaurant options on the local road leading to the homestay. There are hammocks to relax in while you enjoy the beautiful garden with local wildlife. A quiet and peaceful retreat! 4 rooms available…snatch yours up! We were kindly welcomed with King coconut drink; owner is so positive and so helpful - every tour that he helped us book was well organized and we learned so much; beautiful garden area with hammocks, parakeets, turtle, chipmunks, toucan…; outside sitting area outside of room; breakfast area outside as well - delicious breakfast with eggs, roti with onion, Dahl crispy cakes, honey hopper, delicious passionfruit juice and coffee…yum!; breakfast varied each day with wonderful local food; easy to walk to a variety of dinner restaurants; easy to book safaris, day trip to Ancient City Of Polonnaruwa and night visit to jungle to see Loris and other wildlife through homestay; bed was comfortable - beautiful wooden canopy beds with lovely mosquito nets; very clean room; spacious room and bathroom; furnished simply with planning; has 2 shelves and a rack with hooks for hanging items; electrical outlets near bed; near local rice fields; beautiful view of Lion's Rock from outside of homestay; supporting a local family

Most of all, the host Udika is great! He is so kind and welcoming and he can easily arrange transport and tours. He arranged a safari tour for us to Hurulu Eco Park (the other parks were too wet to drive through), where we saw 33 wild elephants! Here we had the whole car for just the two of us and we had an amazing driver who had exactly the right tempo and knew how to avoid the crowds. The room was super spacious and comfortable, we even had two beds! Breakfast was lovely, made with care. Finally, we felt very welcome and at home and we chilled with various birds in the garden, about which Udika can tell you a lot! Best place to stay, would recommend it to everybody! Thank you so much :)

The owners are very friendly! They helped us so good with everything!! All the tours or transport, they arranged for us, were very good. The most amazing thing is their own garden! We saw so many cool animals. And when you walk outside the lodge you have a beautiful view off the lions rock.
