My fiancée and I could not have loved this place more. After the transfer from Colombo Airport with the friendly Ranga (who was great company on the drive and gave us great recommendations and information about Sri Lanka) that Villa Nelu organised for us, we arrived to a great welcome even though it was late. The room itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious (we loved the four poster bed and mosquito netting which made it feel cosy) with good AC and fan and a good bathroom with hot shower. But the two standout things are: (1) the open air breakfast / restaurant area with beautiful views of rice fields and Sigiriya Rock and (2) most of all the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, kind and helpful - organising tuk tuks, a safari, and giving us advice on where to visit and when. They even lent me a phone charger without hesitation when mine broke and were always on hand whenever we needed anything. We honestly can't recommend this place enough! We will recommend to all friends and family visiting Sigiriya and hope to stay again some day. Thank you for the most wonderful welcome to Sri Lanka - you have set the bar high for the rest of our trip!

Loved the location that was short walk to main road and restaurants but out of town enough to enjoy the lush location of paddy fields and amazing view of the rock. Also loved the pool.

A fantastic place to stay in the middle of rice fields, with an amazing view of Sigiriya rock. You can take nice walks in the calm area. The staff is very welcoming and nice, always helping you arrange the things you wish. Thanks for the hospitality!

Quiet and attractive. Not in center but short walk to it, avoiding traffic noise. Restaurent view over surrounding rice paddies with exotic birds hovering about. Owner is very accommodating to guests needs.

Absolutely beautiful, located a few minutes walk from the main road and sits quietly in the middle of the rice fields and the jungle. Breathtaking views on Pidurangala and Lion’s rock. Very friendly staff and beautiful pool.

You can see Sigiriya Rock from your room and while you enjoy breakfast! You are sorrounded by rice plantation in a quiet area with a nice pool where to relax The staff is great :)

we are very happy with everything at the hotel. Perfect choice. The Kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the wild place. Personal was kind and helpful, always responding to our needs. Room was clean, food was ok
