A very lovely homestay. The accommodation is exactly as described; clean and comfortable. There is a lovely porch outside the room where you can relax and absord the sounds of jungle wildlife, after a day of hiking & sightseeing. The best part of this stay was the hospitality of Manju & his family. He arranged everything for me! Safaris, lifts, day trips to all the temples & sights around the cultural triangle. We saw wild elephants ,waterbuffalos, monkeys, colours birds, dragons, everything! I really saw so much in a short stay. The breakfast and dinners were also delicious & huge portions! The homestay is off the beaten track but is situated perfectly for walks around the area. I highly recommend Manju's place as a base for your cultural triangle exploration.Thank you & best of luck in the future, Manju & Family! 🤍

The Manju Homestay is located in very quiet area, you can only hear the nature and squirrels around. Breakfasts were big and delicious, we also had a dinner and it was even bigger and tasty. The room and the terrace was very spacious and clean. Manju and his family is very friendly and kind, they helped us with everything we asked for.

Amazing little home stay tucked away in the trees, facilities are more than adequate and our stay was made exceptional by our amazing host Manju. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, giving advice, ensuring our safety, arranging transport and supplying us with the best Sri Lanka food thus far. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more.

Manju is a straight shooter. We found him to be extremely hard working, dedicated to his wife and growing family, and honest and reliable. He didn’t sugar coat things either. He is himself and very authentic. The homestay was really wonderful. We loved sitting outside the room In the morning listening to the birds and enjoying the garden views of their plants and flowers, drinking a cup of delicious tea. Manju was very helpful and gave us a lot of good suggestions and answered our questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Dhila prepared the most amazing Sri Lankan breakfasts for us every morning, she is an excellent cook. We also had dinner at the homestay on our second night and it was fantastic! Just sorry we didn’t eat there both nights …. Manju and Dhila are a lovely couple. Manju has his dreams and plans which he is working hard towards and we wish him all the very best, he deserves it. Mithu their little daughter is a delight. We wish them all the best with the new baby when it arrives in December. Manju has his own tuk tuk and keep and will run you around at a good price.
