The staff helped us to organize all the activities we wanted, including all the transportation. The views are amazing and the food is great as well. You can pay with visa which is also very helpful since most of the other accommodations dont accept this type of payment. Magnificent breakfast.

We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful view of Sigiriya Rock from the shared restaurant space at the top. The lovely hosts helped us plan some excursions and organised taxis/tuk tuks for us too. Also my husband has some sever allergies which they were great at catering for and providing us with a detailed overview of ingredients in specific dishes. Thank you again, we had a lovely stay!

A very cosy, clean and comfortable place with a beautiful terasse. The bathroom with some Japanese gadgets was cool. Bikes for free for the customers and also water to refill - very eco friendly! Also the guests get a fresh welcome juice. Tasty breakfast, friendly owner and stuff.

Staff were nice, breakfast was good :) great location to Lion's Rock and other restaurants (they offer dinner too). The view from the top (breakfast) was lovely. Aircon was good. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Rooms were spacious and clean

We really liked the location - great views from the covered roof terrace during meals and there are also sofas there. The guest house is on a pleasant side road , a few minutes walk from the main road, and close to the Sigiria entrance road. Easy to hire a bicycle or moped on site. We ate dinner on the roof terrace and enjoyed the curries and some very good fried rice. There are also restaurants in easy walking distance. We were also able to use the washing machine and there are clothes lines for quick drying. Pleasant and clean room with an outdoor seating area each side and colourful outdoor lighting. The climb up Pidurangula for sunset is well known. The temples are very interesting to see and view from the top is great - but would advise avoiding the walk at sunset and go at a different time. There were scores of people queuing to get up for over an hour and longer getting down as the rock scramble before the top is a bottle neck and has a couple of tricky bits. We saw people struggling to get down with their children against the surge of people going up. The guest house can tell you about an alternative place to walk up for sunset.

Beautiful scenary surrounding the hotel and incredibly tranquil with sounds of the tropical landscape. Friendly staff, a welcome drink and a big room with a little terrace. Fabulous.

Iwamisou is perfectly located for visits to nearby Sigiriya Lion's rock and pidurangula , Sri Lanka's most impressive tourist sites The views from the room was amazing , the room was spacious , clean and well equipped . Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and always served with a smile and had the best coffee I tasted throughout my stay in Sri Lanka . The owner / manager Nissanka has a wealth of information about Sri Lanka and offers many excellent services as a guide and Sherpa and can arrange trips , transfers or anything else you require I was made feel very welcome and as a solo traveller and felt safe at all times I would thoroughly recommend Iwamisou during your visit to fabulous Sri Lanka
