- My partner and I stayed for two nights and didn’t want to leave. - Staff are unbelievably friendly, couldn’t do enough for you, there to help with anything you needed. - The pool area and grounds are extremely well kept, it’s like an oasis away from the Sri Lankan madness of travelling. - The room we stayed in was huge, air conditioning work perfectly. - Breakfast was our favourite part, just brilliant. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we will be sure to come back!

The room was spacious, clean, well equipped, the shower worked well and the plumbing was good. It was very pretty looking out over the pool and garden.

This is an amazing hotel with fantastic service. They could not do enough for us. All staff was helpful and professional to the highest standard. We booked a stay with breakfast & dinner and both meals were delicious. The hotel is located very near the centre with restaurants & shops. We travelled through Sri Lanka for 9 days and this was the best hotel we've stayed. Warmly recommended. Thank you very much!

The staff were super friendly and the room was gorgeous. The pool was also very nice. To be honest the setting of the whole place was fabulous and serene. The breakfast was exceptional

Our stay here was fantastic. A great room, comfortable sofa on the balcony, good aircon and bathroom facilities. A nice little restaurant serving good food and drinks and above all very friendly and helpful staff. Its ideally placed for most of the attractions in the town and the pool was great too. Podi, the owner helped us sort out excursions, tuk tuks and taxis. Overall this was probably the best value for money accommodation we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.

Amazing stay at il Frangipane. The rooms are so spacious and very clean and modern, nice en suite with great shower and hot water. The location is ideal- 10/15 minute walk to Lions rock and 7 minute walk into town and nearby restaurants. The staff at il Frangipane are on hand to help 24/7 and super friendly and helpful. They organised tuk tuks for day trips for us and also arranged our onward travel to Negombo. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Sigiriya. The breakfast and dinner was also super tasty and I would recommend the half board option. With the quiet pool area and gardens- I wish we stayed longer!

Little gem hidden in a beautiful garden. The guys that run the place are the best! Very high standard and service level. They can organize daytrips, taxi's and tuktuk's. Breakfast was very good (and plenty) with a daily changing snack like pancakes, hoppers and cake. The whole property is clean and well maintained. Room and bathroom are big (good shower), clean, aircon works fine and every room has an outside seating area. We loved this place. When staying in Sigiriya i highly recommend Il Frangipane!

Amazing stay at il Frangipane. Staff and owner very friendly. The accomodation offers a pool where you can cool down after a long day. Rooms spacious and breakfast was also very good.
