A friendly and loving family run homestay. Their 3 adorable young boys are there to help and play with us. The garden is a great place to relax in peace in the beautiful nature.

One of the best places I stayed at! Very friendly and helpful hosts. The wife prepared a very tasty dinner and breakfast. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. I saw lots of animals in the garden.

Our stay at Green Bamboo house was very pleasant. The host family were lovely and so welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and airy. The evening home cooked meal was delicious aswas the included breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great host that helps you a lot. Great dinner, and we loved their children. He took us to the small rock and also to the massage(it was pretty expensive, I would go somewhere else).

The lovely host family made me feel welcome from the very first moment. They helped to organize all the activities (Pidurangala, Minneriya National Park) that I wanted to do, ordered Tuk Tuks and gave helpful advice on public transport for day trips or the next destination during my trip. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and something different every morning. The additional dinner offered was equally delicious, I highly recommend trying it to taste an authentic homemade Sri Lankan dinner. Overall, my stay was the best value for money I have experienced so far! Thank you so much for your hospitality! And it was fun to play cards with your boys!

Sanath and his wife Latah and their family were so welcoming and amazing hosts! The room and bathroom was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the night. They couldn’t have done any more for us, made dinner and breakfast at our requested times (dinner at additional cost of 1500LKR per person). Helped us to organise transfer for climbing Pidurangala Rock and gave advice on trips. I would recommend staying here to anyone!
