Beautiful location. Great to go to sleep listening to the sounds of the jungle and watching fireflies. Staff were excellent, so helpful.

Loved everything about our stay. Staff were wonderfully welcoming and attentive. Food was great. Treehouses were fantastic well designed and cosy! Outdoor bathrooms spacious. We saw monkeys, did the Loris night walk and walked to Lions Rock.

The location in the jungle, the tree house and the staff was lovely. Though we had checked out and gone for a safari once back they gave us towels to shower and freshen up.

A unique experience of sleeping in the jungle which is hard to rate. The place was surprisingly clean considering it's an open space inside the jungle. The monkeys are coming inside the house every morning and trying to find some food wherever they can, which I suppose can be both positive and negative, depending on the individuals. We found it funny :) The staff and breakfast were great. Perfect experience for nature lovers.

We chose to stay in the tree house for one night and although we knew what we were buying into we were enlightened by the experience. The tree house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is great as it’s close to Sigirya rock and the surrounding villages. The sounds of the wildlife while laying in bed in complete darkness is definitely an experience we would recommend and we feel that Back of Beyond is the perfect place for this!

The most amazing hidden gem! If you’re looking for a jungle hideaway then this is for you! You really experience the full jungle experience. The staff were so friendly and always there to help. Super close to the Rocks too! A short Tuk Tuk ride to the restaurants/bars/shops. Our driver from the airport Mahinda was great and helped us to get around sigiriya and arranged a fabulous visit to a village where we watched a lovely lady prepare us lunch, which was yummy! Thank you for an amazing experience Back of Beyond!

A beautiful tree house in the rainforest. It was a great escape from reality. Close tuk tuk ride into Sigiriya town and walking distance to Pidurangala. One of the hotel staff was lovely enough to take us to Lions rock via tuk tuk at 04:45am for sunrise hike. He then came back a few hours later to collect us. We had dinner at the hotel which was nice, they even made me a meal specifically gluten free after I showed my allergen card earlier in the day which I really appreciated. The tree house was amazing and definitely recommend this place as it is a fantastic experience.

Stunning location, monkeys are swinging around the trees during the day and very close to both rocks to climb. Staff were SO friendly and helpful, they could not do enough to make your stay more pleasant. Bed was so comfortable! Could not recommend it enough.
