The room itself was lovely! clean, spacious, and well-located near the train station and Siena’s center. We appreciated the early check-in, and the property has a lot of charm. Unfortunately, the experience was tainted by the host’s behavior. We encountered an issue with the heating, which turned off around 10pm, leaving the room cold at night. Despite being told the heating would run from 6pm to 6am, this wasn’t the case. When we brought it up politely via message, we were met with a hostile response the next morning. The host insisted that we are rude for texting her after the “operating hours” (despite no reception hours being listed anywhere), brought up her children multiple times even though it’s not our business nor something we should be worried about during our holiday, and dismissed our concerns. While I understand this is a family-run accommodation and not a hotel, we are paying guests and expected basic hospitality and professionalism in return. Her personal situation is not our responsibility, and as paying guests, we should be able to raise concerns without being treated with disrespect. A beautiful place, but I would not return due to the host’s attitude. With better communication and a more respectful approach to guest concerns, this stay could have been much more enjoyable.

Beautiful traditionally-Tuscan villa, in an exceptionally good position, close to one of the historic city gates and at the same time to the train station, yet tranquil with a splendid panoramic view, thanks to the ample backyard where you can take refuge from the busy street on the opposite side of the house. The staff were very welcoming an accommodating with our needs. The common kitchen and bathroom were clean and very well equipped.

very traditional, lovely dark cool rooms located to the back of the property to prevent sun exposure. the terrace and view were beautiful. the actual house is beautiful, a great location, friendly staff and nice to have own cooking space.

Amazing stay, loved it!! Despite no aircon the rooms stay very cool, and I was there in July heat. Super helpful hosts with check in and for anything I needed. Really east to get to from Sienna Train station too - you go through the shopping centre "Galleria PortaSiena" and take the escalators all the way up to Siena, then a short walk to the villa. Would definitely stay again!

What a great villa, location and view from the outside terrace... :) Vittoria was away holidaying, but we managed everything via WhatsApp - she even checked in during our stay to see how things were going. Will definitely look to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Very convenient location to stay for easy walk to historical centre and access to train station. Room was nice and very clean. Lovely terrace to sit and enjoy the view. Vittoria was really accommodating and helpful, allowing us to store our bags when we arrived early.

We only stayed here one night but wish we stayed longer, the host was friendly and accommodating. The villa itself was very nice and big and was in a great location.
