The hotel provides a beautiful taste of the Tuscan countryside whilst being an only 15minutes taxi ride from Siena. The room was very clean and in-keeping with the farm setting. The grounds was lovely and we liked we was able to walk around the vineyards.

Photos don't do this place justice! Beautiful spacious air conditioned rooms. Fantastic location about 10 minutes from Sienna, but felt like you were in the middle of vineyards. Beautiful pool and on site restaurant with views! One of our favourite stays of our trip!

This is a beautiful place to stay, set in the rolling hills of Tuscany, yet a short drive to Siena. It is easy to find, and has the most wonderful views. The pool was gorgeous and the restaurant where had breakfast and dinner for both days, was divine. The room itself way surpassed expectations in size, quality and comfort.

Villa il Castagno Wine & Resort is a great place to stay. The hotel is well kept, the rooms are clean and the views of the Tuscan hills are breathtaking. It gives a homely experience, but the best part is the staff. Chef Philip was super friendly and fantastic, and Noemi was very attentive and helpful with everything we needed. We have already recommended it to friends and family and will definitely hope to return.

We prefer this hotel for our honeymoon. Their own wines and the view and facilities of the hotel were wonderful. Also the employees were very polite and helpful.

Everything about Villa Castagna was exceptional. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with incredible views in all directions framed by rose bushes carefully tended surrounding the property. The pool is particularly delightful with its curtained cabanas providing sanctuary from the sun. The decor throughout has been done with exceptional taste and attention to detail. Our bathroom had four kinds of marble joined with sandstone brick window arches and wood ceiling. The fabrics used for bedspreads and curtains were also carefully chosen to complement the colors of the wood ceilings, tile floors and marble. It was a joy to stay in such a lovely place in such a magnificent setting. And the food! In addition to breakfast, we had dinner there three nights. The menu is creative, the food is delicious, all sourced locally, and it is presented with care and beauty. The staff clearly work well together and their smiling faces add to the pleasure of being there.
