Hostel Overview

The Funky Village is the original, biggest and best fun hostel in Siem Reap! Located only 5 minutes walking from the famous Pub Street and only 9km from Angkor Wat. Our lively, adults-only hostel features a large swimming pool, poolside bar, a beauty salon, a Co-Working Space, 4 restaurants - including a Pizza Beer Garden, a Vegetarian Café, a local Cambodian restaurant and our Poolside restaurant which serves worldwide cuisine, we also have multiple pool tables, ping pong tables, a rooftop sports bar with great views, a Club, a Cinema room. Our hostel is designed like no other – with vibrant murals all over, painted by internationally renowned urban artist, Tommy Gurr.
We have a variety of spacious dorms, including female only dorms, with sizes ranging from 2 bed, 4 bed, 10 bed, 12 bed and 28 bed. We also have en-suite private double and twin rooms. As well as deluxe double private rooms which include huge 65” smart TV’s! All our dorm rooms and private rooms have cool air-conditioning and fans, great free Wi-Fi and comfy beds.
We promise to keep you entertained throughout your stay in Siem Reap with our Pool Parties with DJ’s, Pub Crawls, Karaoke, Movie Nights, Pool Tournaments, BBQ’s and more. As well as taking you on one of our unique countryside Tours, where you will experience the real, authentic Cambodia and make memories that will last forever!

A very friendly Hostel. Clean, good location, excellent food and Staff, especially Gareth. 😊 Its a Hostel Resort, with pool, 4 bars, 3 restaurants, pizza Garden,beauty shop, skybar, quiet air conditoned working space..and so much more. The staff make it, they're all so lovely. 🥰

Our stay here was excellent, the room was clean, beds were very comfortable, the pool is very relaxing and a bar offers drinks for very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good english.

Amazing place, nice pool and many other unexpected facilities such as a cool workplace, several eateries and bars, the tours/trips etc all well organised and its great to know they help the local people in so many ways.

really cool that there's a beauty salon on sight and a co-working space. Loved my stay here, perfect if you like to socialise and meet people but also if you want to get work done and relax. It has both :) I'd love to come back

I had a private room (with toilet) and it was very good value for money. Apparently dorm beds are not as comfortable (very thin mattress) but mine was alright. It is a party hostel so there’s always loud music and it goes on until 1 or 2 am. I was lucky my room was one of the furthest away from the pool and bar area but earplugs are a must!

I like this place and extended my stay from two days to three days, I like the swimming pool and swam every day, there are many friendly guests and I was having fun, the staff, Vandy and Vathana were very helpful and gave exceptionally good service, I highly recommend this place for people who want to relax and have fun at the same time

All the staff was amazing, Sean and George go above and beyond in managing all the tours and trips you could ever ask for the sunset tour was one of my favourite trips to see Cambodian culture and people and the wake park trip is a wonderful way to spend a hot sunny day and being able to enjoy the nightlife with a guide makes your trip a more complete and comfortable visit the management team works hand in hand with the staff to be flexible to all the guests needs, wants, and desires creating events, party’s and tours all in all a wonderful place to stay at while exploring siem reap
