Good value for money accommodation. Clean room with good design. Beautiful hotel grounds. Cleanliness and comfort throughout the stay are pleasing. Attentive and polite reception staff, leaves only good impressions from communication. Internet connection throughout the hotel and in the rooms is quite acceptable. If desired, you can eat in the hotel restaurant. Quite convenient location of the hotel for exploring Angkor.

Thank you so much to everyone at the People by the community hotel for your incredible hospitality. I've had the pleasure of staying there twice, with my most recent stay lasting 50 nights. Time went by so fast! I truly felt like part of the family. The room was spacious and large , a special thanks to the cleaning staff who did an amazing job in keeping the room clean and tidy. The staff on reception are always on hand to help and nothing is too much trouble, they also have an extensive knowledge of the local facilities. I loved talking with everyone—their smiles made me feel warm and comfortable. It's an experience I will never forget and hope to repeat again in the future. I highly recommend staying at People by the community hotel, not only will you have a great stay, but you will also be supporting local people, which is such wonderful experience.

Excellent hotel in the town centre. Very nice welcome drink and fruits. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room is spacious, clean and quiet with aircon. There are 2 swimming pools if you want to cool off after a day in the park. The hotel restaurant has good choices of local and western food at reasonable prices. Hotel is close to Angkor Park Pass Ticket Counters and Angkor Wat. There is a large supermarket (Angkor Market 2) about 800m down the street and 7-11 400m away. There are also some nice cafes within 20min walk. The staff can also help to arrange transportation, tours and bike/scooter rentals. There is free parking for scooters.

The hotel has excellent friendly and helpful staff and provides reasonably priced food and drink. It is perfectly situated for quick travel to Siem Reap centre, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. The shower is hot and powerful. It is great value for money. This may sound a little too perfect but its not.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, exceptional food with a lot vegetarian options. We even booked our tour to Angkor Wat and other temples through the hotel, it was a smooth day trip. Specially our guide Mr. Billy was very helpful and caring. He also explained us their local culture, heritage and facts very well.

It was a great and pleasant experience just being in this hotel by itself. If you thought that luxorious housing and sustainability can not be matched - this community can do it! Actually, this is more than just a hotel. The people understand each other and you as a community. Respect and care is written in capital letters here and I have rarely seen people treating their customers as warm-hearted as a family member before! You have my respect for building a community like this. I have been in numerous hotels and other accommodations, NY, buenos aires, dubai, LA, spain, italy, germany, france, turkey, .... this one was the best i ever stayed in! When you arrive, they sit you down on a couch and bring you a refreshing cinnamon drink and fresh fruits, ask you how your journey was. They make everything as uncomplicated for you as possible. The rooms are quite big, the AC is good, we had a balcony and the shower is a rain shower which was very pleasant as well. Had everything one can need. Whenever you go in or out, the people have a smile for you and give you a generous positive vibe, really the best service I ever experienced anywhere. They really care about you having a good time there. The hotel has own tuktuk drivers, which is very convenient. We used it several times to get into the siem reap and even did an individual angkor wat tour with Mr. T, a very friendly driver taking us to the next temple and waiting for us as long as we wanted to stay there. He even brought water for us and nice spots with sceneric views which he recommend to us. The restaurant has great food, the standard of the kitchen is pretty high. We always took breakfast here and sometimes dined here, even though I wanted to eat outside as often as possible because i cant miss experiencing the local cuisine. I had a sour chicken soup with morning glory here, that was amazing! They also have lots of western food.
