Large comfortable rooms, a good breakfast, lovely swimming pool with pool bar (amazing cocktails😎) and a short tuktuk ride into town. What really stands out at Bayon Modern Residence is the staff. Such lovely, friendly people who go above and beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay. Highly recommended

During my recent stay at Bayon Modern Residence in Siem Reap, I was thoroughly impressed. The spacious and immaculate room provided a comfortable retreat after exploring the temples. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything I needed, making me feel truly welcome. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool area—a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere, combined with its convenient location just a short tuk-tuk ride from Pub Street and the Old Market, made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Bayon Modern Residence to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

I loved the size of my room, which boasted a balcony with a beautiful view of the delightful swimming pool. The pool itself was another standout feature, blending saltwater and freshwater. The temperature was simply perfect, making swimming and lounging feel almost like floating. It was absolutely wonderful. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Very good breakfast.

This hotel is a true gem in Siem Reap. Beautifully decorated with stunning artwork, it offers a large, gorgeous pool area with a fantastic cocktail bar. The restaurant serves amazing, affordable food, and the Khmer cooking class with the chef was a highlight I highly recommend. The spacious, clean rooms are tastefully designed, and the location is perfect—just a short tuk-tuk ride from Angkor Wat and Siem Reap’s center. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of continental, local, and sweet options. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff—helpful, considerate, and enthusiastic. If you appreciate a stylish boutique atmosphere over a standard chain hotel, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

I enjoy a simple breakfast. Fruit, toast and tea and was happy with my choice, but there was a much more varied selection of food available to cater to a variety of tastes.

Very nice and spacious rooms, perfectly clean, nice balcony with view over the swimming pool in the courtyard. Decent breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Booked sunrise tour via hotel (group tour with an agency) which was very good itself, also the hotel kindly prepare a breakfast box to take with seeing as you miss the breakfast service at the hotel if you do the sunrise tour. Location a touch further from town than ideal, but at least it's nice and calm compared to the absolute centre. And Grab is only about a dollar each time; or can easily walk to town in 20 minutes, if you can tolerate the heat and humidity!

The hotel was very nice and big, the staff was very nice too. The only problem was that my partner, who has mite allergy, has quite a reaction in a room in the hotel. The staff was nice and immediately change the room for us.
