Super quiet and nice gardens with an incredible view of nature, but still within walking distance of all the restaurants. Best of both worlds. Nice food too!

Papahan Bali is a beautiful small accommodation in the heart of Sidemen, in its quiet part, nestled in beautiful nature. Villa is spacious and comfortable, with authentic feel and look, and best of all - open shower.

Lovely simple accommodation in Sidemen for a reasonable price. Walkable into the village and hotel restaurants area. Fabulous pool. Very charming garden with a permaculture feel to it.

Very nice and modern bungalow, good pool with cool water for a nice swim. Good bed, linen, towels, nice outdoor bath, aircon working well. Breakfast served on your verandah. Beautiful garden, nice views. Very friendly staff.

Hidden Gem - Perfect Stay for the Price! We recently stayed at this incredible hotel, and honestly, it’s an underrated gem! For the price, you truly get so much more than expected. The place has a lovely pool, which we almost had entirely to ourselves, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff here is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to fulfill any request with a smile. It felt like they were managing the hotel themselves, giving a personal touch and warm hospitality you’d rarely find in a large chain hotel. Our room had a private bathroom, which was spotless—cleanliness here is top-notch! Restaurants are also conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh options every morning, and the staff even prepared an extra pot of coffee for us when we were checking out. To top it all off, they offered a complimentary ride to our next accommodation in Sidemen. Every detail here felt thoughtfully planned and handled with genuine care. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a wonderful stay with a personal touch!

This place was a perfect stay for our 2 nights in Sidemen. The staff were amazing and made sure all our needs were met. They organised a scooter for us to drive around during our time there, organised our transport to our next destination and served us breakfast both mornings in a friendly manner. The location is beautiful with views of mount Agung when the clouds don’t cover it. The accommodation is away from the road and is so peaceful at night time. During our stay in Sidemen we found some puppies that were only a few days old that had been abandoned so we contacted our hosts & they helped us bring them to safety and feed them some milk. They really are such kind people and made us feel so welcome during our stay.

Owners were wonderful and very friendly. Great breakfast. Amazing views from the room , wonderful big veranda to sit and relax. Pool was great. Only 2 bungalows at present, more to be built. Some reviews mentioned room being too light, they now have curtains so no problem with at that at all. Easy walking distance to many food choices, I found food at Warung Deva very tasty.

What a jewel. Immerse in nature, two perfectly equipped cottages with both beautiful view. Above all I will remember the kindness of the family that runs the place. They helped me to decorate the room for the 30 birthday of my daughter. This place will stay in our heart for ever.

We loved Papahan. So much that we came back at the end of the trip. What you are getting for the price is incredible. The room is spacious and clean with your own little terrace. Perfect AC and wifi. The breakfast is great and served directly outside your room. The garden is so luscious and well kept. The pool is basically private as there are only two rooms in the property. The place in family run and the owners are so nice. I couldn’t recommend more the place.
