We loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We loved the natural surroundings, the garden, the rice field and the butterflies. The room was also super cosy, loved all the cute lamps. The location was good for us as we walked to the rice field and river. Our room was cleaned daily and we loved being able to eat the hotel food on the verandah. I hope Sidemon remains a nature lovers dream.

An exceptionally beautiful property, tranquil and peaceful. The villa we stayed in (number 01) was outstanding, extremely clean, furnished beautifully with a high standard of amenities. The enormous bed and mattress is the best we have ever slept in, in both Asia and Europe. The semi-outdoor bathroom, particularly the shower, loaded with cosmetics and useful items was brilliant. Super high pressure water with a rain shower head. Towel kimonos to wear around the pool etc. The terrace on the front of the villa is a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, which is provided each morning and was fantastic. Highly recommend the vegetable omelette. All the food we ate was very good, and we ate 3 times a day. Good prices, large portions and a wide variety on the menu. The grounds and gardens themselves are also beautiful and it’s clear high level of care has been afforded to its upkeep. The pool area is lined with coconut trees, papaya trees, huge banana leaves, pineapple plants etc. it’s absolutely idyllic. There is an impressive diversity of wildlife throughout the day - butterflies, lizards and geckos, various birds - all providing a lovely chorus throughout the day. Notably there is distinct lack of mosquitoes which is surprising considering the proximity to rice paddies and jungle. During an evening swim we were treated to fireflies emerging from the wild/jungle area that surrounds the property, which was the highlight of our stay. In terms of staff and service, absolutely faultless. We were the only guests staying and were treated like royalty. Attentive but not intrusive, smiley and courteous. They also offer a traditional Balinese 1 hour massage for an incredible 150k per person which we thoroughly enjoyed, a great choice for couples. On site parking available for our jeep, strong wifi, ice cold beer, strong cocktails. Can’t comment on the surrounding area as we didn’t leave once during our stay. Don’t hesitate to book.

The place is absolutely crammed with plants, a lush green oasis. Beautiful pool area, lovely staff, and room had everything we needed. Griya Valud exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to book again.

an amazing place with lovely people a hidden gem, well located in sidemen. The garden is beautiful, the pool facing the jungle is stunning. a cozy place for a relaxing stay thanka to all the staff 🙏🏻

pool not clean apart from breakfast. It’s a long walk to get food. unless you hire a scooter. really not a lot to see in the area.
