staying here is an experience on its own, beautiful grounds to stroll around, plenty of cozy corners, very well conditioned rooms, and extremely nice host, totally recommended to go there if your somehow nearby

It is the most beautiful place I ever stayed in! A work of art and love. A historical living museum of if Romanian village life. Sorin is the nicest host in the world. kind, funny and caring like a family . Don't come for one night, stay there to sit in the river water and adore all that beauty.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to enjoy your night, have a chat with cool owners, sleep with the sound of the river, and have the possibility of doing your own BBQ, Minorita Peninsula is the best place in Sibiel. The room that we stayed in (Illeana Casa) was big, spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The garden looks like a paradise with many flowers, plenty of garden tables where you can enjoy your coffee or your beer, and it is right next to the river. There is also a common kitchen with all the kitchen amenities. Definitely, you should visit it and meet Sorin and Mioritica! I simply give a 10!

The garden is the standout feature of this property, with many lovely places to sit down, relax, and listen to the birds singing and the stream around which the property is built. The rooms are lovely, clean, and have traditional features, and the hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! This is a stunning find that we look forward to revisiting and I wholeheartedly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at pensiunea Mioritica. Our hosts Sorin and Maria made the most magical relaxing place. They both work so hard, Sorin works all day to make the place and gardin even more beautiful and Maria cleans and keeps everything spotless throughout the day. From the tour on arrival and talks during our stay we got to know Sorin as a sweet man with a good sense of humor. We were so sad to leave the place, that we already thinking of coming back. We got some much more then expected! We are in love with this place!!!! A little preview of the un-edited poem Tim wrote about the pension and our hosts: In a valley, on the edge of wild forests, where stray dogs bark at wolves and bears, lies a quiet village with a babbling brook. And along the stream, there is a patch of land where a man reminiscent of Tom Bombadil, along with his wife, let nature and civilization flow together. Broken stones are waiting in the river. And while civilizations crumble like mountains crumble into sand, Sorin builds his own palace, while empires fall and steel falcons perch above the hills. With his calloused hands he picks up boulders from the stream to fit them in the hills. A stone is just a stone, thousands of stones form a marriage between man and nature. Sorin was a history teacher and knows that Rome wasn't built in a day. That's why he builds his house like a redheaded weaver builds his nest, with the patience of a woman in a wheelchair. - Tim Lenders Thank you so much!! Love, Tamar, Lisa, Avi and Tim.
