Very attentive and friendly staff. Lovely good sized room. Restaurant was excellent with good service and a very good menu. Terrace bar in the sunshine overlooking the river Severn was a pleasure. A visit to Shrewsbury itself was easy from this hotel.

Best ham sandwich I have had in quite a while and bed extremely comfortable. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Decor newish in the bedroom and perfectly fine, if not to my personal taste.

Amazing hotel we were made to feel most welcome immediately by the staff, our rooms looked newly refurbished and were spotless, pristine and comfortable. We had an amazing evening meal in the restaurant, absolutely delicious food and wine at reasonable prices. The location was only a couple of miles out of Shrewsbury town and perfect for exploring the area, lovely views over the river, and the hotel has a wonderful terraced outdoor area as well as a huge beer garden. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends.

Our rooms were extremely comfortable and newly decorated, carpeted and furnished and we all enjoyed our evening meals and breakfasts. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Thank you for making us so comfortable.

Very welcoming, beautiful setting. Room small but had everything you needed, along with being clean. Breakfast not included in stay but well worth it.
