Stayed 2 nights at Hawkstone for a wedding, picturesque building and grounds. Bed was one of the comfiest I've slet in! Breakfast was great, staff were pleasant and always on hand to help if needed.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff could not have been any better.”

Everyone says the staff are amazing and I can honestly confirm ... they are! Sally on Reception was really lovely and helpful, I didn't catch his name, but the man who showed us in and served our breakfast was such a gentleman and perfect for his job , so friendly! I must mention my Cosmopolitan Cocktail. The best ever 🍸. One more mention for George. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Again, perfect balance of friendly and professional. The Hall itself is stunning. The dinner was exceptional as was the breakfast. Gardens are beautiful, don't forget to say hello to the donkeys and llamas! Such a fab place for a birthday treat 😍

“An outstanding stay in a beautiful counrty house hotel.”

What a fabulous place. We only stayed for one night but will but for more next year as it was so fabulous. A stunning view as you approach the Hall, and a lovely welcome. Beautiful bedroom and public rooms ( it is a historic house) and the food was also brilliant. Friendly courteous staff. You can even pet the alpacas and donkey belonging to the Hall. I can't praise it enough.

“Beautiful place to stay though remote”

Breakfast was very good Dinners good but expensive Lovely setting in acres of country woodland Staff friendly and obliging Rooms were comfortable though shower very awkward to control from scolding hot to cold.

“Lovely retreat away for the night.”

Lovely period property. Staff were excellent and very informative. We had the breakfast and the food was lovely, all freshly cooked.

“Generally a great place with a few irritations they could easily sort out”

Great location and very attractive house and gardens. Great service from enthusiastic staff. Wonderful views.

“Wonderfully attentive staff who compliment a beautifully finished hotel in a stunning location”

We were checked in personally by Paula who was exceptional throughout our stay. Friendly, polite, professional with a great sense of humour. Gorgeous surroundings and beautifully finished rooms. The hotel offers an exceptional Breakfast and the Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was amazing.. My partner had the lamb from Sunday dinner which was absolutely delicious with a wonderful mash. The cheeseboard and Chocolate Torte were delicious. We had an intermittent noise in our room and when we called reception, we were moved quickly and efficiently to a new room. This was excellent customer service from Paula. The grounds were beautiful but we didn't have time to fully explore sadly due to a busy schedule. Being able to feed the Donkeys was fun and meeting the Lamas was pretty cool even if they are a little aloof :-) We will definitely be back and may even book our wedding here.

“Wonderful old historical hotel great staff and grounds in a lovely rural setting.”

Breakfast was fine. Dinner was also quite lovely but could use a bit more extensive menu.
