Breakfast was freshly cooked from a menu of choice, and with whatever variations people wanted. The staff were cheerful and friendly, clearly cared about how happy you were. The location is at the foot of the more interesting and unique shopping, with plenty of choice of bars, pubs and places to eat of good quality. There is the castle and prison nearby if you are interested, a river footpath to walk along. My room was cleaned every day to a high standard, and had all of the basic facilities you would expect. Fantastic Thai massage up the road.

A lovely hotel in a great location with welcoming staff who seemed to care about their guests. A good choice of breakfast with comfy and clean rooms. We were surprised how quiet the hotel was, despite being so close to the town! We would stay again if in the area.
