The house is old as the name suggests the room we booked was large suite room and fairly clean

The house and rooms are very spacious and well lit. The chimneys once lit make it very comfortable in winter. You can request for coal at additional price. The staff is very cooperative and sweet. It was a grand stay - would highly recommend it if in Shillong.
