The place is easy to locate on the map. I travelled first time to Shilong, however it was not a difficult task to find the place. There is always some one to help. Free room heater is provided.

Loved my stay there, a beautiful house in a quiet area, with such a friendly and helpful staff who made me feel like family! I liked the well decorated double room, and also the dorms were nice; they gave me a heater (it was very cold in December), the breakfast they served was delicious. The house is a little far from the town but that makes it special and peaceful, and you can walk through the sweet village to get a shared taxi into town. One evening I arrived a bit late, and they were so kind to drive me to a local restaurant and to pick me up to go back, I enjoyed interesting conversations with the owner and staff, who all spoke really good English. Thank you a lot!

I can't say enough for this accommodation as a backpacker. (I didn't see the rooms). The dorm is spacious, kept clean and tidy, and as its own bathroom, with a good water heater, and lockers for valuables. An egg omelette breakfast with toast and tea/coffee are included. But the best is the amazing staff, always there to help - positive and smiling. Darren kept the kitchen spotless and made breakfast to order, besides keeping the charcoal fire going on those cold nights, a huge thanks!

The owner and staff members were extremely nice, helpful and basically treated me like a friend. The house was spacious, clean and very well-maintained. You might see a negative review from another male guest (his name is Ali) and wanted to clarify: the male guest was extremely rude and screaming at the staff members at 7am, mind you. "WHERES MY BREAKFAST, I WANT MY BREAKFAST IN 15 MINUTes" He was so entitled and just plain rude. He was also very weird (see attached photo) to other guests, including me (solo female traveller). So the owner provided me another room, away from him, and he was unhappy. Please kindly disregard the review made by him. The kind action of the host to provide me another room is a testament to how kind and wonderful this place is. Definitely highly recommended!!
