The breakfast is very good and the staff are lovely - they can’t do enough to help and are kind and courteous. The renovated bar and breakfast room are pleasant spaces.

Friendly staff, fair price. Uncomfortable bed and sofa. Lots of things seemed unfinished in the room eg the curtain pole was only completed on one side.

Nice hotel, good room,shame that food wasn’t served between 7 and 8.30 because of functions happening. We were really hungry and tired. Maybe it should have been in the information prior to booking?

it was a nice place, clean and friendly staff, great area very close to where I was training so all handy. bed could have been softer for my liking but everything else was good

The historic ambiance of the Hotel. Mixture of old and new. Dinner superb !. Feel some comments are unfair as comparing to modern hotels. This Hotel is a very old building and can therefore have some issues, heating, stairs etc, but it is a great atmosphere and makes you wish you had a time machine to see it in all its glory

Although the place needs updating, I gave a high score relating to value for money. The place was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great and we enjoyed our stay

The hotel itself is pretty and has a nice bar. Good amount of parking and quick walk into Shifnal town centre. Nice little garden with furniture which is probably lovely in the summertime. Breakfast was nice - fair selection even though we came down relatively late. Staff were attentive at breakfast, replenishing food and juice quickly. Housekeeping staff in particular were really friendly and helpful.
