Good hotel, Excellent breakfast. Good dinner menu, though it is being simplified and is decent value. We have stayed here a few times, as it is convenient - and they are having a tough time to keep ahead of the competition. The bar walls are used as something of an art gallery, and the offerings need to be changed (some are old, some are painted to a recipe, and some of the sculpture is not quite good enough - and the prices are aspirational).

All the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure everyone had what they needed. Despite being busy with a function they gave everyone attention. Good range on the food and drinks menu.

It was such a delight to find The Kings Arms with its splendid rooms and bar in the beautiful Wiltshire village bordering Dorset, just a short drive from Sherborne with its magnificent Abbey, cafes, restaurants and high street with an eclectic collection of shops.

We liked the location of the Inn and the twin bedded room was very comfortable. The bar and dining room areas are very welcoming and the food was delicious. All the staff are very helpful.
