This is a nice hotel, an old building with bags of character located close enough to town to walk but far enough out to have both parking and a beautiful garden. All staff encountered were cheerful, enthusiastic, and didn't just respond but made an effort to be helpful whether checking in, taking breakfast order, or offering information about the town.

Attentive staff sorted out an initial confusion to our satisfaction. Very comfortable and quiet room,, good quality linen. We liked the little special touches. Great breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay in Sherborne.

Beautiful room. So much space and nice to have two chairs to sit in. Big towels and dressing gowns. Showers that just worked. Good amount of parking spaces. Quaint little rooms and a billiards table too. Slightly away from the main drag but by only 50 metres, so ideal.

Warm & traditionally decorated. Lovely sitting room and other areas to relax in outside of the bedroom. Pretty garden. Great central location & lovely cooked breakfast
