Like- location, staff- friendly. Food was plentiful. Children’s meal in the evening was very good value. Reception looks nice. Restaurant area well maintained. Dislike- Bedroom hallways need renovating. Bathroom in bedroom was dire. Mouldy and peeling paint all over. Around the window in bedroom mouldy and paint peeling. The floors and surfaces in the room had not been wiped. There were toe nails on the floor and multiple dirty marks on the furniture. The pool area had peeling paint which had fallen in multiple areas and not cleaned up which makes me think the floors hadn’t been cleaned in this area either.

Location was ideal for visiting family in Walton and travelling to London. On site parking was handy. Food was very good with a good choice especially the breakfast .4

Excellent hotel; appeared to be recently re-furbished. Room large with heaps of space. Had dinner in the pub area which was good. Breakfast excellent with alot of options and caters to various allergies etc. Staff very friendly and assisted during our stay both on the front desk and around the dinner area.

Nice room, good desk, comfy bed, big tv, YouTube, really good reception staff. Many rooms overlook the garden which is great. Snazzy interior design to main areas and restaurant. BUT the pool, which is why I booked here, is not four star- peeling blistered paint on bottom of walls, limescale on windows, doors etc and hair in plugs after kids lessons let it down. Also dinner was awful- vegetarian tart as a main was tiny (10cm diameter!!) with a spoonful of limp salad leaves, and brown wrinkled new potatoes which must have been kept warm for hours.
