We had a fabulous stay at Nook Farm holiday cottage. The communication with the owners was very clear, in terms of how to get the keys etc, and the house itself was excellent - clean, spacious, very homely and very well equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could wish for! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and were always around if we needed anything. The location is not only beautiful but very well placed for visiting many interesting places. We will return I'm sure, and have no hesitation in recommending the place to anyone.

Beautiful property with stunning views. Friendly hosts. Milk, tea, coffee etc and cleaning products provided as well as a lovely bottle of wine and fresh flowers- a really nice touch! Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay at Nook Farm! We were welcomed by nice treats which we really appreciated. The kitchen is provided with everything you might need, with a nice fridge and large freezer as well. There was a hairdryer and soft towels, the house was warm and welcoming. The parking is large and easy enough to access. The position is perfect to visit the Peaks, very close to Stocksbridge which has a great shopping village with Aldi, Iceland and Lidl as well as many nice shops. Plus, it was amazing to go out each morning and see such a beautiful view on the landscape, lovely place! Thank you so much for everything :)

Wonderful property with stunning views. Owner was next door and very helpful. They have gone to a lot of bother to provide information about the local area from days out to places for shopping. Best cottage I have stayed in for a long long time

The cottage was immaculate! It was spotlessly clean, well presented and had absolutely everything you could need to hand! It very much felt like a home from home. Helen and her husband Paul are a great couple who made sure we had a super stay! Helen is one of the loveliest, kindest ladies you could ever meet! She was extremely welcoming leaving fresh flowers, milk and biscuits on our arrival. Tea and coffee were freely available. We had an issue with our van on arrival turning up a lot later than planned. Helen even helped us out with this, giving my husband a lift and even fetching some butter etc for him whilst he was without transport! One day, she even fetched our washing in when it rained and we were out for the day. She really goes above and beyond for her guests but not in an intrusive way. She is one special lady! We stayed at the cottage for a week whilst our son was competing at a swimming meet at Ponds Forge in Sheffield. The cottage is based in a super location for us to go back and forth into Sheffield taking about 25 minutes by car. It was so lovely to get back to the cottage after a long day at a hot pool! The views of the surrounding countryside are amazing, its quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed for ever!

We loved it, the cottage was beautiful and very well presented. The views were amazing. Everything we needed was there and Helen popped in to greet us. Wish we could have stayed longer.
