I loved the staff especially concierge department with the elderly gentleman who organised our transport., dorry o forgot his name. And the ever smiling young chubby cheeks gentleman and one very warm front office staff Youssef. George the driver was a delight , so helpful and respectful of boundaries as well. Reema in the spur, the Syrian beauty with the loveliest dancing eyes was so good👍 at her job. She gave me the best massage I ve had in sham over my 14 day stay. The body scrub and Moroccan bath were also good 👍 I can still feel their effect back home in Uganda 🇺🇬 . St George, I am hooked .

Food was great - the best food in Egypt I've ever had. Drinks ex. Cola, sprite directly from the bottle. Guys from service are really nice and friendly. After check out we could stay at the swimming pool or beach and take drinks from the bar and go to the lunch. They have also provided us shower room to prepare ourselves for trip to home 😊

We have been staying at this hotel for the last 6 years and we love it here, the staff couldn’t help anymore, the facilities are great. It’s only a small hotel which suits us nicely. The staff are amazing!

Long review ahead :) 1. Staff: All staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful and very pleasant. Thank you to Mark at reception for checking us in quickly very early in the morning, Ahmed at housekeeping for helping with our luggage always with a smile on his face. Efraim at reception was always helpful and friendly with us, thank you! All the waiters were so great, they work so hard! Special mention to Ayman, Abdallah, Youssef, Abdel Azize, Romany, and Kerroles at the Mermaid Pool bar. Thank you also to Mr Mandy at the restaurant for making sure we always got a seat and for checking up on us every mealtime. Also a big thank you to Mr Habib, the manager for ensuring our rooms were on the ground floor close to the restaurant and pools. We really appreciated the room upgrade. The bus/shuttle drivers were so nice too. 2. Food: The buffets at all mealtimes were varied, with a different theme for dinner every day (we had Italian, Mexican, Seafood and Asian). There is always something for everyone, even my fussy 6 year old enjoyed the fries, pasta, pizza and cereals. There is always a selection of different meats (beef, chicken and fish), lots of bread selection, tasty salads, fresh fruit, SO many different desserts, soups, rice dishes and grills. Food was always hot and fresh. We did have a few days where the grilled chicken was a bit undercooked so just check for yourself. There are snacks served in the lobby between mealtimes (sandwiches). The AI meal plan was worth it. We don't drink alcohol but really enjoyed the soft drinks (pineapple juice is great). It was a bit cooler later in the day so we also enjoyed the hot chocolate and coffee from the bar around the pool. 3. Hotel and amenities: I must mention the cleanliness of this hotel is excellent. There is always someone cleaning, in the restaurant, gardens, around the pool, etc. The gardens around the Adult only/Quiet pool area were so beautiful and well maintained.

Everything was great. While we were waiting for our ride for a trip to Cairo in the early morning hours, someone from the hotel brought out two packages, providing us with a prepared breakfast for two. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made us happy. Coincidentally, it was also our 2-year-old son's birthday that day. Although no one was informed, we returned to find a cake and service prepared in our room, which was an amazing surprise. The pool was clean, the food was average, and the cocktails weren't great, but their kind and thoughtful actions won us over. If I return, I would definitely choose to stay at the same hotel again.
