The hotel had a great view of the mosque which was nice at night time and it was within walking distance to there (20 minutes downhill). The men on reception were friendly and always willing to help. There is a bus to Farana Beach and a nice pool area with a dj on site. There is a distinct Greek vibe to the colour scheme in the hotel and in general it felt like an upscale resort for the price.

The hotel was generally nice. Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast consisted of cheese and a single fried egg but was sufficient. The evening receptionist Said was very helpful and helped us find our Cairo tour. There are two pools in the hotel and one has an aqua park but the slides need maintenance. The fact that large groups of men are in the hotel makes family holidays unpleasant.

The front desk seems to be open 24/7 and the staff is very welcoming and professional. The location is great. It's walking distance to the market where you can find restaurants, shops and a supermarket (Metro). You need to find the stairs that lead down there and skip the detour through the streets.
