Nice hotel , very friendly staff . This was my second stay at the Medehamstede, and both times have been very good. Conveniently placed to explore Shanklin and beyond. The evening entertainment was always a joy to come back to after a day exploring the island, and the breakfast set up was very well organised

Great location, lovely sunny breakfast room and garden, lovely room with sunrise view. Very peaceful. On the debit side, my overhead light was broken and there was no soap upon my arrival. But overall, very pleasant.

The breakfast itself was ok could of just done with a bit more on the full English just 1 bit of bacon and 1 sausage but it was tasty enough
