This is a really unique experience. The camp is right up in the sand dunes (whereas lots of the other camps are in the valley at the bottom looking up at the dunes), so it was a huge plus to be right amongst them. We went with our two young children (2 and 5) and had a huge tent with more than enough space (and really comfortable beds!) On the way to the camp, the guide took us via their goat farm and my kids were able to feed the baby goats, which they absolutely loved! The camp offers lots of other activities as well - we didn’t do any as just wanted to enjoy the camp, but there’s lots to do there. My husband and I sat out for the evening looking at the stars and it was so beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend!

You need a 4x4 car and will be guided from a meeting place. About 30min drive. Goats and sheep feeding then on to the camp where you will receive a traditional coffee greeting. Camel riding (and more) is optional but recommended. Dinner and breakfast will be cooked by the staff, and it´s very good. Sunset and sunrise are spectacular amongst the dunes. The tents are solid, beds as well. A very memorable experience.

we stayed at the camp for one night, and loved it. is it not far from town (really easy to get there) but it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. the tend was cosy and the food great, staff really nice!

The tent camp was a nice experience. The tents are equipped with comfortable, clean beds, a small lamp and a cupboard.

Lovely remote spot but not too far from the highways as we had an airport day the next day and needed to move on. Tents are lovely - basic private facilities - but it is the desert! Food was ok

Great tents. Nice people running it. Easy pick up/ joining the drive into the desert. Great food! They had a chef from Zanzibar who cooked a most delicious buffet.

I thought the camp would be further out into the desert, was just 30 mins out of town, resulting in a not completely dark camp at night, I was looking forward to seeing the stars without light pollution. We drive in our 4x4 from the meeting point in town. Absolutely ridiculous that you need to pay the guy 2 risks to let some air out of our tyres, this should be included if you look at the price that guests are paying.
