The pool on the roof is a godsend for when it gets hot. We had two teenagers with us. Note opening hours for it: 10:00 to 18:30. The hotel is less than 10 mins from Las Setas- the Mushrooms, and an easy 20 minute walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar. They do a good breakfast for €15 per person if it’s not included. The hotel was swankier than l had imagined it would be.

Very easy to get to in hire car. Close to the city centre but not so close that I had to drive down the very narrow streets. Parking at the hotel was very good and there is EV charging which I didn't need in this instance

Not having air conditioning on until April is not acceptable. They thankfully moved us to a new room

Small double room, somewhat cramped. Poor layout in bathroom (space between toilet and bidet was worse than an economy airline seat). Air-conditioning not working so room very hot at night. Good location generally for restaurants. Did not eat at the hotel. Room was 441.
