100% recommend this place! So friendly and welcoming. Amazing English and thought and attention to detail providing lots of information on the area, recommendations for restaurants,.tips on opening and closing times on the island and more! The beds were super comfy and we had a great night's sleep. On top of everything when we forgot some items we were kindly forwarded them on my post to our next location.

Location near shops & restaurants, walking distance to places to see. Comfortable sleep on the bunk beds. Welcomed by the host and the cat upon arrival.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. His English was good. The private two person room is great, spacious and well equipped and felt very homely. All the facilities were very clean. I am tall but still fit comfortably on the bunk bed.

Great place to rest up during the Shiminami Kaido. Felt like I was staying in someones room. There was also information including different restaurants that were available for breakfast and dinner with the type of food and opening times, something that I did not fully plan for

Everything. Leo is such a nice and kind host. The place is very clean and calm during the day and at night near two beautiful shrines and the main streets with shops and restaurants. Leo could give you best advices to explore around. His English is really good so it’s very convenient if you don’t speak Japanese or just a little bit. As it is a old house, the soundproofing is poor but if you have respectful neighbours guests everything will be fine. Thanks a lot Leo for this beautiful stay and your help!

Incredible owner who couldn't be more helpful. Gave suggestions and warnings about conquering the Shimanami Kaido, pointed out what's open in the area, and a lot of useful info you can't find on Google. The room was spacious, and the built in kitchenette in my room was very helpful in case I wanted to use the sink in the comfort of my own room. Ample privacy for the kitchen too, I guess, as there are curtains for it? AC was strong. Only slept in the bottom bunk (it was ok comfortable, but I was too tired to care). Very close to primary Shimanami Kaido path, and close to all the attractions/restaurants in town. Shared shower kept very clean.

place was awesome, friendly owner. we did the shimanami route stopping overnight here. clean, everything you need. we slept well. if your gonna live inside your room, maybe a different hotel. washing facilities if you need them. love the bum bum cleaner!!

Great location in the centre of the town. Our host Leo was helpful and very welcoming. He gave us top tips on local restaurants and a map of the town with recommendations of places to visit. The room was clean and very comfortable. The shared shower and bathroom also excellent with everything you could need.

Cosy room with a bunk bed. Communal shower and washing basins all kept very clean. Very hot during my stay and the air conditioning was excellent.
