Everything was great! The dinners were delicious, breakfasts were full of good protein to keep us full all day long - the Iced Tea on check in was fantastic!! Wish I could have had more. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a comfortable spot near Sossusvlei!

Gorgeous property and facilities! One night was definitely not enough. The dinner was fantastic being a 4-course meal and the staff were really friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 💯 My only con would be as a South African I found the accommodation rate abit pricey. Maybe if they had a SADC discount.

Breakfast and dinner were very pleasant. Going to Sossousvlei together with Roi was an experience :-).....and the bush breakfast is highly recommendable!

Everything was great! A beautiful spot in the heart of the desert. The rooms and beds were comfy and clean and the lodge area was spacious. The pool is nice as well, though a little small. Staff were very kind as well.

The property is excellent, offering a high standard of service and amenities. It’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfasts were satisfactory, but the dinners were outstanding—an absolute delight of flavors! The staff was very helpful and professional. At our request, they even organized a nighttime barbecue for us. Highly recommended for a pleasant and memorable stay!"

The area was gorgeous, we had a beautiful room with a view over the open desert where we could see ground squirrels and oryxes. there was a vegetarian option available at dinner on request, which was delicious and well thought out. We took a sundowner drive with them, which was also well worth the cost, would really recommend it. We also got printed out bedtime stories and chocolates each night.

The Elegant Desert Lodge is significantly cheaper than its neighbouring lodges, so it may not be as swanky, but it's just a special really. The pool is good, the views are fantastic, the food is delicious, and - more importantly in my opinion - the staff are warmer and more welcoming than elsewhere. Down to earth and a lovely stay.
