Incredible place, pretty new and beautiful grounds. Friendly welcoming staff from the beginning, attentive and polite. Tents are spacious and have everything you need. It is on the edge of the sand and the views are incredible, often see Oryx wander past. Food varied and excellent. Because you’re one gate inside the park you can access all the sites 1 hour earlier than those staying outside the park so can get to the dunes/canyon/deadvlei before and get incredible sites. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is an expensive hotel but without doubt worth every dollar. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and showed us to our delightful tented (with solid sides) lodge. It was beautifully furnished and the views were outstanding. Some have commented on having to cross a corridor to get to the private bathroom, in fact the small corridor is part of your room and it really isn’t a problem at all. The bathroom has double sinks and a super powerful shower. It has the best view from a bathroom I have ever experienced. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all Superb. Being just inside the park was a great advantage and we were one of the first to arrive at the Big Daddy 4wd car park. We managed the sand drive with no problem in a Suzuki Jiminy.

The room was spacious and lovely, the main building was really stunning and the dinner was great. So nice to try some local dishes - the only place we stayed where we could do that, and the chef was super enthusiastic and fun. The tour we did was great too to see the dunes so early on, and our packed breakfast was good. The location meant we got to big daddy dune before anyone else and had ridges all to ourselves - that was amazing and worth the stay for us. Staff were friendly too and helpful.

+ One of the few lodges inside the Sessriem gates, allowing sunset on Elim Dune, and sunrise on Dune 45. + Good buffet breakfast and diner, both quality and quantity. Lunch ok. + Good views with Orix close to chalets, and Ostriches visible.

The Lodge was very spacious and luxurious! The pool area, offering a stunning view into the desert, was very nice. The dinner buffet was superb, featuring freshly grilled game. At lunch, oryxes walked past the lodge, adding a unique touch to our experience. The friendly staff, luxurious accommodations, and inviting atmosphere made our stay exceptional. We highly recommend this lodge. Its perfect location inside the park allows you to be among the first visitors to Sossusvlei in the morning. The chalets are stylish and very clean.
