We stayed at appartement Oltre. Which was good for the four of us. Two bedrooms and two batrooms. A lot of space upstairs. And a lovely view at the Santuario Santa Maria di Crea. The swimming pool is perfect. There is enough room outside to enjoy the surroundings and enjoy the wine. Sabine, Ramona and Pietro are excellent hosts.

Tenuta Tenaglia is a winery located in the beautiful Monferrato area of Piedmont. They also offer a few apartments for rent located in a building just next to the main house. The apartment was on two floors, clean and quite big, with two toilets and a shower. The kitchen was small but worked for preparing breakfast and a couple of dinners. Good comfortable beds. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We had a very professional and passionate wine tasting on site, and boy do they produce high quality wines! We fell in love with the stories, the location and approach to making wine. And of course we bought some to take home. The outside area offers a great pool and relaxing area that we frequently used during our week here. Altogether Tenuta Tenaglia is definitely worth a visit, and if you are a wine nerd like us it is worth a detour just to get your hands on their superb wines. You can book a separate tasing on their website (included if you stay there)!
