I enjoyed the location, it was located in the old quarter of the city. It was walking distance to a number of different facilities, cafes and attractions such as the village and the Palace.

Good variety at breakfast. The location is exceptional - many attractions are within walking distance, with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby, and two subway stations just a 10-minute walk away. The staff is polite and helpful.

The location, breakfast and large room with balcony (plus because not all superior double rooms had a balcony). If necessary, towels were changed daily and cleaning was done. The hotel staff was friendly and provided us with information for our stay.

Lovely clean hotel, with comfy beds, amazing staff and a perfect location! Only small fault is there is not a lot of space to store clothes and other items, but you can easily work around this and keep items folded as there are irons available.

Pros: The hotel was just a 15-20 minute walk from Myeong-dong and only 5 minutes to Insa-dong. With several train stations and bus stops nearby, getting to other areas was very convenient. I highly recommend The Artist Bakery, located just a 15-minute walk away. We even walked to Gyeongbokgung Palace. The staff were friendly and accommodating, happy to assist with our requests. They even provided us with a printed map to the nearest convenience store. They also replenished our water bottles daily, one for each person, which we greatly appreciated. Cons: The beds were too firm for both of us. The room was consistently too warm, and while the air conditioning worked fine for heating, it didn’t seem to cool properly. Fortunately, it was cold outside, so we managed to maintain a somewhat comfortable temperature by keeping the windows open. However, even on the 8th floor, it was noisy with the window open. We had to keep the air conditioning on full blast to regulate the temperature, which made for a less-than-ideal sleep experience. The bathroom lights were too dim for applying makeup, and at times, we could hear the TV from neighboring rooms. We also had to contact the front desk occasionally to request more supplies like coffee etc. The Toilets are automatic which means it automatically flushes but does not have a manual button. Didn’t quite enjoy that experience. Considering that we spent most of our time outside, the hotel's price and its proximity to key attractions in the area made it a great choice. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I truly appreciated the staff's hospitality.

Ideally located approximately 5mins walk from number 1 line metro/subway and 10mins walk from Myeongdong Shopping Street. There are 2 24 hour convenience stores also within a couple minutes walk of the hotel, so very convenient. Convenient facilities inside the hotel such as coin washing machines and dryers, microwave and boiling water dispenser to prepare ready meals where needed, and a small but functional gym. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Case in point, assisting us on our check out day to book a taxi to the airport limousine bus stop. Highly recommended if staying in Seoul and wanting to be close to transport links and other convenience. A+++

The hotel aesthetic and staff were lovely. The very bright bathroom light sensor came on anytime you walked near it and woke up the other person so the maintenance person came to take out the bulb straight away which was helpful. Netflix works!!
