The fine print
The repair work of the facility is done from November 1,2024 to May 6,2025. This may cause noise during the day, but construction is not carried out at night.
Guests are required to make a deposit of KRW 100,000 upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out.
Please note that starting from 1st January, 2023 Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeongdong will start selling some of the amenities for a fee, aiming to reduce the use and emission of single-use plastics. Item : Toothbrush/toothpaste set, razor set, etc. Location: Vending machine on the 21st floor (only cards accepted, no cash).
As of 1st June, 2024, the room cleaning is conducted every 2 days for the purpose of environmental conservation. When room cleaning is not scheduled, the housekeeping will not enter the room, and a fresh set of towels will be provided at your door. If you wish to have your room cleaned, please either inform the front desk or use the touch pannel in your room by 12PM on the day.

The hotel is right where Myeongdong Street is, and when you turn left to walk straight, you'll find yourself at the entrance of one of the subway station line. A near and nice walk to Namsam Tower. Amenities inside were abundance, and staff regularly place replacement of amenities on alternate days due to some sustainable practices ongoing in korea. High floor view is beautiful. Check in was fast & efficient- staff were kind and spoke english well. Hotel accomodated well to special request :)

Location is great. Accessible to shopping and restaurants. Staffs were bilingual and able to speak different languages. I feel warmth and welcomed.

Location of the hotel was a surprised as it’s opened right in the Myeongdong market, it’s very convenient for shopping or access to subways. The room was spacious for 2. It’s lovely decorated and had separated toilet room from bathroom. The lights and wall sockets were everywhere around the room. Chairs was soft and nice. Extremely clean and lovely view from windows of 10th floor and above.

The staffs are all friendly and helpful. I was greeted by this smile gentleman the moment I stepped out of the lift to the lobby, he is also very helpful with our luggage. The cleaning lady is polite and always greeting with a smile. One particular staff left me with a deep impression, Mr Lim Soowoon. He is always helpful and provide timely and helpful assistance regardless of the timing that we approached for help. We did reach out to him for a box to put in all our tidbits we bgt from lotte mart at 1am and he is still smiley as usual and kindly helped us fixed the box . Wanted to say a big thank you to him and the helpful staffs of the hotel. This will be the reason that I'll choose this hotel again for my next year trip! 😁

Everything about the hotel was great except for the funny smell in the hallways and the room. I think it maybe carpet related. It left a feeling of uncleanliness. The staff though provided excellent service. The carpet in the rooms, looked dirty even if it was cleaned.
