Offering free WiFi access, Cocoa Guesthouse is situated just a 10-minute walk from Hongik University Station, around which is an area known for its indie arts culture, where shopping, dining and entertainment options are plentiful.
The Korean-style rooms and dormitory rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating systems and shared bathrooms. They are fitted with either bunk beds or traditional futon mats.
Guests can use the shared kitchen, which has a washing machine, stove, microwave and water dispenser. Computers are available for use, and luggage storage and fax/photocopying services are also available.
A simple breakfast is served daily. There are also many restaurants and pubs within a short walk of the guest house, especially in the Hongdae area.
Cocoa Guesthouse is a 15-minute drive or subway ride from the popular Myeongdong and Namdaemun markets. Gimpo Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

The room was very basic but clean and shower room was large. We were most worried about the sound from the neighboring bars but honestly that was not an issue at all. It was no where near as loud as you'd think. Just be aware that the party does go on till 7 am on the weekends. If you want to be in the heart of Hongdae bars, restaurants and shopping. Then this is the place. Also really close to heaps of transport options.
