Hotel Overview

Nice room good bed , meals in hotel good. Clean looking friendly staff . Had an old fashioned appeal . Most of the guests were of the older age group when we visited. Nice table cloths and cloth serviettes .

Room was very spacious and clean. We had bottled water in the room along with all tea, coffee etc. Plenty of Car paring. Breakfast was lovely choice of continental or cooked breakfast, we couldn't fault it and the staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again.

I used to visit regularly with my partner but hadn’t been for 7 or 8 years. It was lovely to see that although the decor and rooms have been a little updated, the building, food and rooms maintain a traditional , professional feel. The food was really fresh, beautifully cooked and the staff very attentive; the room was very comfortable and quiet. Staff were very accommodating in giving me a room in the main house. I will be back!

We have friends in Sedlescombe so it’s very convenient for us. The hotel is comfortable and clean and does a good breakfast. It’s a little dated but perfect for a couple of nights if you need to stay locally.

Food quality at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and service was fantastic. Very clean room and bed was very big and comfortable.
