Fourth time of staying at The Boathouse. The bedrooms are comfortable, very clean and light and airy. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are good with plenty of choice. My only concern is poor lighting in car park and over steps to the side entrance. Not good when negotiating access at night.

Rooms have Great sea view., spacious room. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They provide good quality toiletries and beverages. The problem is it’s on the top of a pub which is not very functional and closes early. For food you need to travel or order online. Also, there are no staffs on site overnight/no 24/7 reception service. We could find few spaces on the room which were dusty, specially the showpiece area over the bed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I wish them good luck.

Lovely pub in fantastic location. Beautiful room with sea views. Peaceful. Comfy bed. Clean. Nice food. We've stayed before & would stay again.

there was not much choise on the evening menu ,but what we had { when it finaly turned up } was lovely breakfast was at 9 witch was a bit late , the menu was very good BUT the chef didnt turn up until 9;15 , we just order 2 full english , arrived at 9;45 , there was no black pudding no toast hash brown was soggy and under cook ,the whole breakfast was just thrown on the plate ,such a let down after a lovely stay , the other couple that stayed the night before said it was the same the morning before breakfast could be so nice if the chef just had a bit of pride in it ,

The property is in an ideal location for my needs. Beautiful, clean bedrooms and bedrooms. This is my second visit and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
