Great location and very friendly and helpful team looked after us. Perfect for early morning Meerkat safari and Ostrich Farm tour. Glenn was particularly friendly and helpful ! Enjoyed Braai on first night and dined out at Nostalgie for authentic Karoo food on second night. Perfect stop-over en-route from Franschhoek to Wilderness.

Incredibly beautiful place! The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast is exceptional. I have stayed in this cozy town many times, but Berluda is one of the best places, if not the best.!

Robert gave us a very warm welcome and immediately gave us some good ideas for the next few days. These included an ostrich farm tour and some history about Oudtshoorn, charmingly presented by Robert. The morning safari with Steven was a dream, as he was able to tell us a lot about the wildlife and fauna. The farmhouse is beautiful and the garden, with its little niches with wonderful flowers and accessories, is a dream. The rooms are cosy decorated in British style, the beds are wonderful and it is wonderfully quiet to relax.

The location and scenary was amazing, quite and peaceful area ideal for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. With so many attractions and activities in the area. The service at the property was top tier my family and I really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back.

The location, the views, the sunset (and sunrise) - they all just added up to an incredibly peaceful and relaxing couple of days. The cottage was spacious and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed using the braai during load-shedding. The meerkat experience was very much worth doing, and luckily for us, included a few other (much bigger) animals too.
